오늘은 리눅스 에러코드에 대해 알아보겠습니다.

리눅스에서 시스템 콜이나 라이브러리 함수를 수행하다가 오류가 발생하면 사용자에게 에러 결과를 넘겨줍니다.

일반적인 오류에서 시스템콜의 리턴값은 -1이고, 라이브러리의 오류 리턴값은 NULL입니다.

이런 에러들을 perror 함수를 통해서 오류메시지를 출력할 수 있습니다.

fd = fopen("test.txt", "r");

if ( fd < 0 ) {

perror("fopen error");

}

return 0;

}

위의 코드에서 fopen 함수 실행 시 에러가 발생하여 가 -1을 리턴한다면 아래와 같이 출력이 됩니다.

fopen error : No such file or directory

이유는 바로 perror함수에서 에러가 발생한 이유를 찾아주기 때문입니다.

리눅스에서 /usr/include/asm/error.h 헤더 파일에 정의되어 있습니다.
